They've been trying to move WJW back to UHF going back to LocalTV....I could see this as a move to increase cap space if it prevails.... Weigel will probably take back their subchannels, and what's left could all end up on WBNX's frequency. The Sinclair diginets will probably get sent packing as well. It does not unless the WJW facility were to be sold.

mrschimpf 2232
Lately TVNewsCheck's TV station rundown has been lousy with run-for-fun stations and godcaster deals, but Nexstar made a move in Myrtle Beach, grabbing WMBE-LD for $300k from spectrum speccer Lowcountry 34; it's certainly not for their current VHF 5 signal to pair with WBTW (VHF 13), nor for their irrelevant AceTV affiliation...but they do have a UHF 22 CP, so either it'll be an in-market WBTW translator or WPDE's going to have to find something else for 15.2 soon besides the CW unless they weren't covered by Sinclair's master agreement. Megatron81 222
FOX56 in Lexington viewers were mad that they didn't air Ohio ST. VS IU game for high school basketball couldn't they have put those high school basketball games on a subchannel. That would've been the smart move than putting it on the main channel and not airing Ohio ST. VS IU. You blew it Nexstar.

TheRolyPoly 1986
Sophie Erber is soon leaving KCAU 9 and Siouxland for Colorado Springs. Could KXRM be in her future? https://www.siouxlandproud.com/about-us/kcau-9-insider/anchor-sophie-erber-soon-departing-kcau-9-news/ WAVY loves delivering homeruns. This is probably a no brainer either. Aesia Toliver moves from mornings to evenings at WAVY News 10. https://www.adweek.com/tvspy/aesia-toliver-moves-from-mornings-to-evenings-at-wavy/ Edited November 26 by TheRolyPoly

These kind of pre-emptions are bad news these days. It's not like it was 20 years ago where a CBS station in a non-SEC market pre-empted the game for a J-P (Raycom) Sports Network ACC game of the local team.
