A big loss in Michiana television and one I was stunned to learn of today.

WSBT and later WBND's Jennifer Copeland has passed away after battling ovarian cancer. The tragic part in all of this... she was only 46.

Dammit, this one really hurts. I've been watching this man since my elementary school days (I'm in my mid-40s). Until recent years, Eric and André Trevigne (later Sally-Ann Roberts) were THE morning news. His interviews were golden and even though he was from St. Louis, you wouldn't know it for you'd have thought he was a native. He embraced the city and the city embraced him. He's definitely up there with the likes of Alec Gifford, Ron Hunter, Angela Hill and Garland Robinette. He will definitely be missed.

Expect a ton of tributes from former colleagues and other nearby TV stations in the coming days.

Another Cleveland legend taken away too soon. Much like Nev Chandler and Casey Coleman who also called Browns games in addition to their sports anchoring careers.

😭 I’m shocked. I really am. I thought he and Pat Harvey were great together. Sending prayers and love to his family, friends and his KCBS/KCAL colleagues.

No way...I had great memories of him when he worked for KTRK in Houston in the 2010's. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He died way too young...

Shocking-- hardly knew he was even sick.

Many choose to keep their private business just that: private.  They are under no obligation to make public disclosures.  We should respect that.

Art Cashin, who did double duty as a UBS executive, as well as a many-years-long analyst on CNBC, has passed at 83.  Cashin was a well-respected, decades-long member of the New York Stock Exchange.

Cheers, Mr. Cashin 🥃... you will truly be missed.
