Up's and downs, up's and downs. Thats how life has been this past week. Just remember to hug your close friends and family. Challenges that come up have to be taken at face value. UPDATE 2338Z: Most everything is back to normal within ZLA. I've heard a fiber line connecting to the facility up in Palmdale. Major delays still exist to push aircraft off their gates at LAX. If you wanna hear that, head over to LiveATC and their ground feed for LAX. Flow times are in effect to Las Vegas from SoCal.

Updates to diversions for all the avgeeks. Lufthansa's A380 is at Oakland right now. Air France diverted to Seattle. UAL planes east of Denver or slightly west of Denver have been diverted to that Hub. Closer in, UAL flights are being diverted to OAK, SJC, SMF, RNO, LAS, and LAX respectively. If you have any more flights that you guys are watching being diverted. Namely international, post it below.

Usually here at this time of day heading off on an adventure... Not so this time. A pick up instead.

Very pleased with my performance on the 1.6 mile walk/power-walk/light jog i did along San Diego Bay this early evening. Took about an hour but was worth it. Legs barely whimpered this time around unlike my first jog that i did 2 weeks ago. Also proud of the fact that i did 1.3 miles in under 5 minutes on a stationary bike at PT on Tuesday. I think a gym membership is in my future. Time for weights and more! :-D

Wasn't able to go up for as long as we wanted to today because of LOWCIGS around the Bay that kept getting lower and lower, plus a nice 19kt gust out of the southwest on final back to SQL. Total time in '14L, 1.0 hrs, SQL-LVK-SQL. Soon enough i'll be back in the air again. :-)

We now return to regularly scheduled Baseball Facebook status programming. #thankgod
