I did discover why the pipe fell off in the first place. Long story short- I was able to correct this. So, I reattached it, did some extreme tightening, and took it on another test drive. Works wonders, and it's solid as a rock. And the noise is much much much less today than it was even yesterday, most likely because the pipe wasn't actually tightened and attached in the right area yesterday. Anyway, it's good to go until next Friday when I take it to J&M for it's new catalytic convertor.
