It's very rare for WWL to air that tag directly after the newscast. It's usually dumped somewhere in the following commercial break, sometimes in the one before the final segment. But it's been there since day one of Gannett taking over.
I think the Belo tag jumped around too.
For the 5pm newscast they play the tag before the final segment, as far as I know....and at the end of each of the rest of them.

Video coming in a little bit....fits better than I thought it would and they've kept the CBS eye in the bug.

If not noon, 5pm definitely.

Not quite.....WDSU had B Package going from 2000 until 2004 when Hearst's package came around.I want to also note that this will be the first time in 16 years since a Gari theme is used in NOLA (since WVUE dropped Advantage in '98). 615 was also absent in this market before WWL acquired AWYT, and it will be absent again, once the Gari theme comes about.

Only promo they've been running is the color codes and the sections they represent...and how it's supposed to make things easier. 15-20 seconds tops.
Here's said promo real quick:

Funny thing is, when they first started using this prior look they were using that particular one's ticker, but somehow reverted back to the old Raycom one around late 2022 or so. I was actually anticipating they'd switch to GrayONE once they moved to their newer building later this year.
