KBAK finally has a new set. It might be a hand me down from the shuttered news department at KTVL in Medford, OR. 

Longtime KERO morning anchor Mike Hart announced that he’s stepping away from the anchor desk and transitioning to a new ‘executive reporter’ role. KERO is also debuting a new ‘neighborhood news’ format in October.

The program guide on the CBS LA website shows the title of the newscasts on channel 2 as “KCAL News at x on CBS Los Angeles” starting December 5. 

WCCO has the new weather graphics. Oh, and CBS Minnesota is now live.

Meteorologist Matt Brickman is leaving WCCO for WNBC.

What the heck? They don't have anyone else available in a pinch?

Well, they did have to bring in Matt Brickman from WCCO to cover the AM news last weekend, so I guess not.

When did KYW get these mic flags? They look pretty good!

KNBC's Gadi Schwartz is moving up to the network as he becomes a Los Angeles based correspondent for NBC News starting in March.

Based on this Facebook post from KBAK, it looks like Dave Gonzales is no longer just temporarily filling in and has officially joined the Eyewitness News team. Also, KBAK has poached another anchor from a rival station with former KGET 6pm anchor Rachelle Murcia joining the station to co-anchor with Dave on the evening newscasts. Last month, Erin Briscoe left the KERO morning show to join KBAK for the same duties.

Bakersfield news news: Erin Briscoe, who left her position as the morning anchor for KERO about a month ago, resurfaced this morning on KBAK/KBFX. She is anchoring with Rob Finnerty from 5-7 on KBAK and from 7-9 on KBFX.

More info on some upcoming changes in Fresno for KSEE and KGPE from the Fresno Bee, including glimpses of KGPE's new set. The set reminds me a little of WCCO and WBNS.
