  1. Speaking of KKTV in Colorado Springs.... Looks like they just went through a logo revamp.
  2. Noticed this on KITV's updated website today. WEWS called. They want their logo back. Haha. Also to keep it with the thread, new abc logo added for tax.
  3. Just saw that former WMC Meteorologist Nick Gunter is now at Gray Sister station WSFA in Montgomery. https://www.wsfa.com/2021/09/24/wsfa-12-news-welcomes-meteorologist-nick-gunter-team/
  4. You can add WTVM to the list to gain the HoneyComb look too. Their banner at WTVM.COM also carries that same look (in the blue and gold color scheme), as WTVY, KOSA, and others. (I guess this, the WMC package, along with the WAFF/WDAM, and WLOX package, are the 4 packages Gray is rolling out across the board right now)...
  5. Looks like the Tegna change train is coming to WZDX in Huntsville on Monday as well. Gone is the WZDX Fox Nexstar era branding and logo. The new look will bring a return to Fox 54 brand, complete with the same 5 from WOI. The weather team posted on social media saying the new brand and full Tegna look will occur on Monday, Sept. 27th.
  6. WILX News 10 in Lansing /Jackson market updated their logo to a red box from the previous blue, also transitioned to the First Alert Weather branding. The graphics look similar to the WAVE/WMBF look. They even did a whole news article about their changes. https://www.wilx.com/2021/08/30/wilx-news-10-announces-new-branding-first-alert-chief-meteorologist-darrin-rockcole-11am-newscast-renewed-focus-original-local-reporting/
  7. Coahoma County which Clarksdale, MS is located in, does actually belong to the Memphis DMA. Also Cox owns both WABG in Greenville and WHBQ in Memphis, so I wouldn't see Gray picking up that cluster.
  8. Both WTVM and WLTZ website now confirm the Shared Service Agreement. Looks like WLTZ will get a new logo, now Local 38. "WTVM News Leader 9 is pleased to be able to provide WLTZ NBC 38 with some of the market’s top-rated local newscasts from WTVM for the WLTZ audience beginning November 23rd. The partnership between WTVM and WLTZ means we will continue to explore ways to enhance our service to the local community. That service is always focused on expanding the ways we can bring timely and essential local news, local sports and weather coverage to more viewers in the Columbus-Auburn area." https://www.wtvm.com/2020/11/22/some-wtvm-news-leader-newscasts-will-be-seen-wltz-nbc/ https://www.wltz.com/2020/11/23/some-wtvm-news-leader-9-newscasts-will-be-seen-on-wltz-nbc-38/
  9. Looks like WAVE 3 launched their new VizRT graphics. With an orange and blue version of the Gray graphics. Gone is the great custom look they created.
  10. Seems like Gray is at it again. A reporter for WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia has reported that Gray has agreed to purchase the NBC and CW affiliate from SagamoreHill Broadcasting. To merge it with already owned ABC WVTM 9 and operated WXTX Fox 54. Will be interesting to see how this plays out in a tiny market with only 4 stations. No word if any other SagamoreHill stations are sold.
  11. As far as I can tell I don't think the ex-Raycom stations will be changing their looks since they already used Arc. KYOU was an exception since it used revrocket as its web host, same host still being used by KNIN Fox 9. It seems that KYOU, which was produced out of WXIX in Cincy under Raycom had its newscasts (or at least weather segments) moved to new sister station KCRG 9 in Cedar Rapids, IA, which makes sense since they are much closer to each other. I think KYOU swapped to the new Arc look at the same time as KCRG 9 did since they had their operations moved to Iowa from Ohio.
  12. The Legacy Gray stations are switching to Washington Post ARC from Clickibility, which is the same platform the former Raycom stations currently use. While all the former Raycom stations have the same basic design, the Legacy Gray stations are keeping the "look" of their former Clickiblity but the underpinnings are now from ARC. The main thing you notice is the Weather Pages from Legacy Gray and former Raycom are the same basic design. It has yet to be seen if the former Raycom stations will switch their design to fall in line with the Legacy Gray stations or not.
  13. WZDX Fox in Huntsville made the switch to the new website layout today and kept its, rocketcitynow.com address. This means, as far as I know, WATN in Memphis is the only one of the Nexstar purchase stations that still has not made the switch. I am sure it will be any day now.
  14. Seems basic. Not bad but not amazing. Maybe the wrong forum for this but million dollar question. Does Tegna drop the "Local" branding from WATN and WOI I know that was a Nexstar thing. Guess we will find out in the coming days and weeks.
  15. Word on the street is Grays Graphic hub did not do these graphics. They were done in-house at WAVE 3. Great look if you ask me. Good evolution of the Limerick package of late.
  16. WSFA 12 in Montgomery announced they are moving to a new facility located in a RSA building in downtown. Makes me wonder if this was in the works before Raycom whom was owned by RSA sold the company to Gray TV. Says they should move into their new facility early next year and leave their longtime home on East Delano Ave in Montgomery. https://www.wsfa.com/2019/11/09/wsfa-news-moving-new-downtown-montgomery-home/
  17. I am pretty sure that KATV ABC 7 is #1 in every time slot in Little Rock. I don't hear much out of 4 and 11. KATV was #1 under Albritton and Sinclair hasn't done anything to jeopardize that in, as of 2000 at least, a "red" state.
  18. Looks like WTVG 13ABC in Toledo also picked up the latest Gray Tv Graphics Package. Seems to be a more cobalt blue than other Former-Raycom stations are getting. Also the open is more like what WMC has than the others have been getting.
  19. Seems as if KLTV and KTRE have the new Gray Graphics package that WMC got recently. Weather Graphics are tad different than the WMC version. https://www.kltv.com/video/2019/08/05/gmet-express-pt-3/
  20. Looks like WTOL is starting to get the Tegna Look too with the Weather Graphics.... Keeping the First Alert Weather Branding... KWES 9 is still on the old Raycom look.
  21. Looks as if Nexstar is about to roll our a new website design. Was offered to take a survey on the new look. I have to say it is a major step up from their current design. I kinda like it. Reminds me a lot of Scripps current website look.
  22. I was just going to mention this! You can add WMBD 31 over in Peoria, IL to that list. Nexstar updated WMBD's long time sister station and fellow CBS affiliate WCIA over in Central Illinois but has not even touched WMBD 31. Heck they even updated the stations in Rockford to HD! So I really wonder what is holding up the updating of WMBD?
