Here we go again with WOAI NBC 4 in San Antonio letting go great talent. Weekday evening anchor Evy Ramos has left the building. She has been there since 2014. According to the article, it seems she was blindsided and shocked by her firing.

Wink news engaging in public shaming cause the stupid gavone yelled FHRITP

TEGNA if your seeing this ... KENS channel 5 desperately needs a new logo too...

I was watching KUVE news tonight, and they were showing a tribute to their employees who are retiring from the station after tonight. There are soooo many of them, I believe 9 employees. It made me sad. I'm surprised KENS down the road, also a TEGNA station, has not announced anyone retiring from their station (yet).

.Former KXAN morning anchor Brian Sanders has joined KJRH to become its' new evening anchor, replacing Russ McCaskey. Sanders starts on Monday.
I didn't even realize that he left KXAN. Just goes to show how much I watch that station.

I am guessing KXVA and KIDY will change over before KIII. Or maybe KIII will change over unexpectedly tomorrow.
-
Any promos for the Gannett graphics on KCEN/KAGS or any other Lone Star station besides KYTX?
I am guessing that nobody knows anything.
-
So i was watching the news tonight and KIII debuted a "This is Home" promo. It looks like they are already moving forward in the changes with Gannett. Still waiting on the graphics change.
Any video of it uploaded yet?

Wow that actually looks really good!
Yes it does!
-
I take it WOAI is modifying their logo as well... It's about time!
-
KABB went to the new look some time around the 7th or 8th. They've reversed the L3s so that they're blue text on a white background, and it wouldn't surprise me if WOAI gets the white-on-blue ones that most (all?) other Sinclair stations have been using.
Speaking of Fox 29 and NBC 4, is there any update as to when these two stations will finally be moving in together??
-
Any signs of former London stations switching soon?
-
Has KREM switched on air graphics? It looks like they have... Confirmation anyone?
-
YES. Just YES.
This is one of the better openings. If only WOAI or KEYE can get this opening (including the same voiceover)

Today (assuming) at noon, KHOU launched the new graphics. I caught the open, Bill Ratner voiced over the "Standing for Houston". The TIH theme is on the dramatic side. I don't think they did a package on the new graphics on their noon broadcast. I watched a little because i was getting motion sickness with the spinning stingers. Ok, that was dramatic on my part. It was really annoying if that.
I'd be betting that TIH for the tagline will be limited if not used at all. From knowing the station, it seems they put a vested interest in the "Standing for Houston" - they used it for a few years now; and their CSD's YouTube is active with promos with "Standing for" whatever thing is going in their town.
Dare to mention "list" so is KHOU the last original Belo station to get the on air change?
I believe KREM is the last ochange.

I believe KREM is the last one to change.

It's insane how slow it had been to release a new graphics and website design for the last of the Belo stations.

CBS renewed its affiliation agreement with Media General:

Good!

Michael Valdes is out at KABB after 20 years and one of the original members of the KABB news team.

More consolidation of channels 4 and 29, I guess.

WDIV has debuted their new logo... And to be honest, they should've stuck with their old logo..

WDIV didn't add the NBC peacock? I don't know why.
-
Of course, KTVB, the little station that could.
-
So KHOU and KREM are the only two left from the Belo stations who have yet to switch over to the new graphics?
-
Agree, The Chew needs to also be fed (no pun intended) at 11am CT. But until it is, it should be at 1, with GH at 2.
If The Chew were to run at 11am CT, then it would be at Noon ET. Would ABC want that for their eastern time zone affiliates?

Why wasn’t KENS included in the deal? It is because of Cox owned radio stations already in San Antonio?
