Well its been a year so that mean WGCL has to make a change. They have stopped using The Enforcer for their opens and have picked up 615's High Velocity. I have no idea why they did this.

This Roman 11logo been on WXIA since 1993, and yes they need an updated logo....

 

They actually did kinda modernized it when they went HD back in 2006 to give it more of a glossy 3D look (kinda what ABC did) but they seem to have gone back to favoring the old 2D version

I've been watching a couple of videos on their website and it seems that WKBW is getting help from it's scripps sister stations in covering the massive lake effect snow they've been having. Notice they aren't using WKBW mic flags or jackets, I have the impression that it's because reports from WEWS and WXYZ couldn't get to the WKBW studios to get them (or maybe WKBW just doesn't have that many to give out).
