Looking further, it appears that Dr. Phil is indeed moving to 3pm with Family Feud moving off CBS3.
I wonder if other CBS O&Os will follow suit.
I think it would be hard for a station like WCBS, because they have a very successful Judge Judy in addition to Dr. Phil, something KYW doesn’t have.

Family Feud already airs on WPSG weeknights at 7 and 7:30.

Where is their live camera that shows the Empire State Building in the background?
I’ve always wondered the same thing.

And it won't shock me if CBS decides to suspended or cease news operations at the station. CBS shouldn't be spending money on a news operation that's in last place.
I don’t think it’s that easy. The product may suck but we must remember that this is the pioneer of the Eyewitness News format with a rich legacy. You can’t just throw all of that away.

They were probably last at that time and the scandal only led KYW's ratings to further continue into freefall. They haven't recovered since and may remain last for the remainder of its history.
Actually, I think they were at a consistent 2nd, but I may be wrong.

Joe Holden fills in as anchor sometimes on CBS3.
I know, but there needs to be at least a 3rd male. Ukee should not be doing 4 newscasts in the evenings. Maybe give the 5 and 10 to someone else like Joe, and even give Jessica a rest too. I’m sure Natasha Brown has wanted a promotion for years, she’s one of the most tenured people at the station right now.

Alexandria Hoff filled in on the 5 to 6:30 PM news tonight co-anchoring with Ukee.
CBS3 needs more male anchors. The station only has 2, and one was converted from a sports guy, the other from a consumer reporter.

I agree wholesale firings
also Nicole Brewer says good bye

She was there for 10 years and only gets a 40-second sendoff? Shameful.

I always thought that if KYW did a straight forward TV-version of KYW NewsRadio1060 it might just work in Philly. And with CBS News emphasizing "Original Reporting" now may be the time.
They’ve gotta have the right talent in place as well. This current setup clearly isn’t working. But something like that could get people watching if done right.

They need changes but in hindsight, did the 96 massacre really worked or it was just another time for them to coast until they find another solution? Like most stations know their weaknesses/time slots. What could they do to bring viewers to watch them at this point? Channel 6 is still number one and 10 is a solid runner up!
That’s what 3 doesn’t understand about this market right now. There’s no room for nonsense fluff pieces. 10 got better of an investment in hard news, not crap.

Look for radical changes coming to the AM show at CBS3. Early look at May book... they finished dead last in every half hour period.
Do you have official numbers?
