Some of these big companies don't understand that people can quit and don't have to put up with their nonsense. This is why we have a "Great Resignation" in the first place. Who the hell wants to get screwed in the ass so much? He asked for a schedule changed. They refused and he walked. Easy as that. I hope this gets laughed out in court and they get to pay his legal fees...
It's might not be as clear cut as that, as they mentioned there was a two-year contract involved. It might have included provisions of giving an x amount of days notice to quit and vice versa to fire. Or any number of provisions that protects either party from the other in regards to terminating the contract.
While New York is an at-will state, if a contract is involved, the contract's provisions trump certain employment regulations.

Really? Raegan has been doing morning newscasts this week, at least at 6am.
No, not this past Monday. Mike Woods was in for the whole day.

Mike Woods did the weather from home on the 10pm news tonight.
Yes, but he was in studio for the AM newscast and the 5PM/6PM newscast. Guess it was easier for at-home coverage, given his all day fill-in.

Marissa Torres just received her degree in meteorology from MSU this month, according to her resume with her agent: NWT Group
As for Reagan Medgie, it seems she's still going for degree in meteorology from Penn State.

All these questions make it seem that way. Can’t he take a vacation without people wondering what happened to him?
There’s no need to be snarky.
There's also no reason for you to postulate or extrapolate on what one person's question of a vacation to the assumption that they left the station.
You did the same thing in the NBC thread about David Ushery, saying he left because you hadn't seen him for a few weeks on air nor on social media. Then he was back on air, after taking a vacation in August, gasp!

Being out a week or two does not mean he left the station.
No one ever said he left the station, you did in your reply here.
They only asked if he was on air during that week, in which another replied he's probably on vacation.

I'm not sure if you have a different news source, but the linked article states she's co-anchoring the 430-7 slot, with even a statement from FOX5 VP & ND stating as such with her experience being an anchor.
