I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I noticed that WDTN's YouTube channel got marked for kids. Apparently, I don't even know why. I only checked there recent videos, but I was actually really surprised by this.
I checked WCMH's YouTube channel and none of there videos got marked for kids. So I am guessing that it must have been a oversight by YouTube.
Here is proof.
EDIT: I just contacted WDTN about this issue, let's hope I get a response soon.

A commercial station/network affiliate owned by a University? AWESOME! Usually, most colleges and universities own PBS member stations. But owning a commercial station and network affiliate? KICK-ASS!
IMO, the anchors and reporters of tomorrow get their start today (at NBC 8 KOMU) while they're still in college (at the University of Missouri, which KOMU is owned by). I'm sure that's the case at two other college-owned commercial station: WVUA Channel 23 in Tuscaloosa Alabama (owned by University of Alabama) and fellow NBC affiliate WNDU Channel 16 in South Bend, Indiana (owned by Notre Dame University until 1998). You can say that it's every student's First Broadcasting Job WHILE IN COLLEGE instead of after.Actually, WNDU was owned by the University until it was sold to Gray Television in 2005. The sale closed in 2006.

I am really surprised this user is uploading ENTIRE Saturday Morning blocks without the video getting blocked or taken down for copyright. I think I saw some of his videos on YouTube recommendations before.
EDIT: Never mind. Those Fox Box videos i was wondering about were uploaded by a different user. But still, I am surprised about this.

Here's a WCAU Newscast from February 15, 2018. The first 40 or so minutes is a NBC News special Report about the Parkland, FL School Shooting which happened the previous day.
https://archive.org/details/WCAU_20180215_160000_NBC10_News_Today_11am
I also noticed that on KNTV during Today, they joined the special report in progress. I think this aired after the Olympics so that explains it.

Here's a KNTV newscast from May 10, 2021.
https://archive.org/details/KNTV_20210511_060000_NBC_Bay_Area_News_at_11
I also wanted to post some newscasts from Telemundo affiliate KSTS on here. However, some of the recent ones i checked aired after movies, and i am guessing Internet Archive must recorded them too early so they start with the final minutes of the movie. So i am going to be careful when posting links to Noticias Telemundo en la noche newscasts.

This was found a couple days ago. This is a WTVD sign off from 1979. Previously, the audio sign off from the same year was available on tv-signoffs.com.

Wow; Lionsgate?!
I've been kind of wondering for a long time who has the rights to the Geraldo show library. I know that Tribune Entertainment (which distributed "Geraldo") shut down sometime in 2007, so I was kind of thinking the library might either belong to Geraldo Rivera himself, another entity, or even Nexstar!
I'm wondering how Lionsgate ended up with Geraldo, though!
Come to think of it, there are a couple of episodes of Charles Perez's awful '90s talk show on YouTube, and it was distributed by Tribune back then. I wonder if Lionsgate has the rights to it as well, or if there is another entity that has them. Or do the tapes for Perez's show even exist (if Tribune had them destroyed, which is unlikely, I think Charles Perez himself may have a copy of every show he did)??
They must have made some deal with Geraldo Rivera or something. But I am not 100% sure.

Here are some KTVU newscasts from October 29, 2012, the day after the Giants won the World Series. From Internet Archive.

I think Lionsgate owns the rights to Geraldo since that was the company that blocks videos of the show on YouTube.

Those 1982 episodes are the ones on Pluto.
Didn't know that Fremantle has blocked slightly newer TPIR and LMAD.
Yeah, those episodes got taken down on YouTube a while back. As i mentioned, those episodes are on Pluto TV so that's why they got taken down.

Fremantle also recently took a lot of Drew Carry Price is Right episodes off YouTube a couple months ago. Most notably the more recent ones from like 2012 to now. They didn't take down the earlier Drew Carry episodes or the Bob Barker ones (they did block some episodes from 1982 and 1983, but that's most likely because of Pluto TV.)
Oh, and Let's Make a Deal too.

Another informative read about WMAQ's Springer/Marin/Magers fiasco:
https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1997-05-18-9705180136-story.html
Following the turmoil of May 1997, WMAQ adopted a new name for its newscast in June -- NewsChannel 5. Clips from that era are rare on YT, but here's an almost complete (delayed) 10 p.m. newscast from 1998:
If your wondering why the newscast got delayed, it was because of the NBA Finals.

Another thing is that Nexstar doesn't stream there stations on NewsOn. Gray, Hearst Television, Cox and Tegna stream there stations on NewsOn, but not Nexstar.

I just saw that LAFF is back on my cable provider (Cincinnati Bell Fioptics). I wonder if WCPO switched the digital channels around or LAFF just moved to another affiliate in the Cincinnati area.
EDIT: Just checked, LAFF is still on WCPO channel 9.5.

Classic American Movie Classics promos from August 1988 with the late Bob Dorian. He was the 'face of AMC' for many years. Bob passed away about two years ago. This was back when AMC was not 24 hours. They would run two movies and then repeat them.

Brief clip from The Weather Channel taped Christmas Day 2002 with Warren Madden and Jennifer Lopez. Included is some commercials and a satellite LOT8s - https://archive.org/details/capture-a-204
KIMA Yakima signs off the air around 1:30am on 12/8/1997. Included during the sign-off is a compilation of Yakima and Cascades scenes set to Sting's instrumental 'Dream of the Blue Turtles'. https://archive.org/details/capture-a-195
Promos and trailers on Guest Cinema, a PPV service on C-Band operated by Request TV for the purpose of the hotel/motel industry. This came from a recording of Bull Durham, around 1988. According to charts from Satellite TV Week, they had two feeds on Satcom F4, scrambled. https://archive.org/details/capture-a-247
More rare pay-per-view, from First Run ('the TVRO movie service'), which was carried on Galaxy 2, tp 4. These promos, some of which look very outdated (like from the '70s!), were aired before a September 25th, 1989 broadcast of 'Tequila Sunrise.'
I remember seeing that KIMA sign off on YouTube years ago. That sign off ran after Headline News, FX The Series and Team Knight Rider.

I also checked WVAH's schedule. Unlike WRGT, they don't air anything local on there. It's just programing from Decades.
- 2
-
I noticed that WRGT (now a MyNetworkTV/Dabl station) is simulcasting the 7AM and 8AM news from the Fox subchannel. The rest of there programing is Dabl programing and MyNetworkTV programing weeknights between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
-
I'm not sure if this was mentioned already, but WVAH is now a affiliate of Decades. Fox programing moved to WCHS DT-2. According to Wikipedia (I know there not a reliable source) Sinclair didn't give a reason for the change at all. This happened in the beginning of February.
-
So I wonder what happened to the KCDO TV building? Did it got sold once Scripps brought the station?
EDIT: The building most likely got sold.
Back on topic, I am pretty surprised the building is up for sale. As somebody mentioned earlier, it is pretty cramped inside.

KMEG TV another Sinclair station moving to KPTH TV sub channel. I remember when that station had a main CBS programming/Secondary Fox off air programming. How many more Sinclair stations are going to continue this.
This doesn't belong in here. It belongs in here:
