In the 10 p.m. ET hour, Jane Minar was live covering the tornado warning in Mobile, Alabama. As soon as that warning was lifted, they returned to the recorded Fox Weather Wild.
She was back for a one minute hit at 11:15 p.m. ET.
It seems Minar will be working overnights, which was confirmed in this FOX press release

I must say I'm very impressed with FOX Weather so far.
I am too. I did not have high hopes because I didn't expect it to be a 24/7 operation but it seems they're at least committed to being available around the clock (at least on weekdays).
I hope they find more distribution methods

They've been breaking in throughout the night covering severe warnings several times an hour for extended periods of time.

Night Light began at 12am ET. At the end of the previous shift, they said to stay with Jane Minar overnight for more information, so I'm not sure if they mean that Jane will only break in if there's tornado warnings issued or what the plan is. Jane's already been live for like 5 hours already, so I don't see her being around for much longer if that's the case.
TWC also ended their live coverage at 12am ET, so I guess it's the race to...be the same.
Update: Jane did a quick scheduled 1-minute segment at 12:15am ET, then back to Night Light. So maybe updates at :15 and :45 or something like that...
Just came to mention this... I was wondering why they said to stay with her overnight and then went to night light... but it would make sense if she's ready to break in, as well as do scheduled segments.
I am really wondering why this isn't up on Tubi yet.

I wonder if this is related to their extended coverage? Maybe they're doing this so they can have enough staff for extended coverage tonight?
Overall, I've been really impressed with the channel so far. I think it's been really good.

You guys really don't want NewsNation to succeed, do you?
Like, I get the ratings on TV aren't great, but look at the YouTube views (and potentially the recordings people may have made on Hulu or YouTube TV); not to mention how many hits the app and website have.
I actually really enjoy NewsNation. The social media views have definitely gone up recently too. I record all NewsNation news programming to watch later on YouTube TV, personally.

I haven't watched Morning In America with the audio on yet, but the presentation space looks nice.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the tiny "set" being used for Dan Abrams Live, but I don't think all of the dark black background space looks very good in the way they're implementing it. Definitely looks like a limited space, limited budget issue.
Do we know where Dan is doing his show from? I know they have their big studios in Chicago, but I assume Dan is in New York City? So I assume he's using space at maybe their local station? I know Banfield was/is doing her show from Connecticut.

Wow, so Gerard Jebaily is the one delivering the weather on the morning show. Where does that leave Albert Ramon then? Pushed to weekends, if anything? I don't believe there's a weather segment on weekday Prime anymore, now that the weekday show has become more about interviews (aka what you'd typically find on cable news, compared to the old local news format). At least when I watched two days last week, I didn't see a weather segment.
Ramon remains chief meteorologist, according to the network, so I assume he is still their big primetime met. I think it makes sense that you may not have seen him as much last week with so much coverage of Gabby Petito, but would expect Albert to show up as hurricanes pop up/severe weather.
I don't know how much to buy much of what FTVlive says, as I have my own opinions of him, but he reported last week that the morning show was struggling to find a met. They were attempting an outside hire, so it's possible Gerard is temporary until they can hire a full-time morning met.

They were also the first to break the news on the possible body.
They've had Brian Entin staked out at the boyfriend's house for days. He has been probably the #1 reporter covering it all. His Twitter has completely blown up over it.

They have been getting tons of views on their YouTube lately due to their Gabby Petito coverage. Some of their videos are getting tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of views and they're getting a ton of new subscribers from it too. I wonder if their social media continues to grow, if they'll make any strategy changes (focusing more on digital), or whether they can convert any social media viewers to TV viewers.
They also have been posting full videos of their shows to their YouTube over the past months. This represented a different strategy for sure, and I think a positive one.

Overnight they stayed on air in full during every tornado warning. Did they do this as well during America's Weather Center?
