I think you took my post out of context. I wasn’t suggesting Pauley or Norville head to the EN. I was quoting someone who mentioned the numerous talent that has gone from NBC (specifically Today) to CBS, and was adding those two names.

Oops. Apologies. I must have read it wrong.

Look up the Mets broadcast schedule. That should be clear.

Oops. Apologies, my brain is tired.

Looks like their broadcasting on SNY and multiple RSN's it seems this year. No clue on if SNY and PIX have the agreement still.

Don’t forget Jane Pauley (Sunday Morning) and Deborah Norville (Inside Edition, part of CBS’s production arm).

I honestly think if they wanted Jane Pauley, they would've done that awhile back (I recall her doing the evening news for a day or two after Scott Pelly left the show).

Deborah Norville is possible. Mary Calvi I've always seen as a potential replacement for Deborah, wether or wether or not that would happen.

However, I think CBS is eyeing a younger face I've noticed lately. Which could play in how they're picking.

I honestly think they're eyeing Tony Dokoupil as a replacement for her. Personally, I'd like to see either Tony or Anthony Mason as anchor.

If they put Tony on the show, they have endless opportunities as to who can replace him on Mornings'.

  4. Anyone know of any Fox O&Os still using the OSI theme?

WOFL Fox 35 still uses it here-and-then for random things, and uses the original  'Morning Theme' regularly every night for the close of the 5PM newscast, switches back to mostly Beyond for the 6PM.

Glad the theme is still used some how, loved that one, though Beyond isn't bad.

  5. Saw it last night. A step in the right direction for sure. Was glad to see the WLNY bug implemented again.

Maybe in the future, as COVID eases out, we might see more.

I honestly wish the WCBS/WLNY duopoly was as good as the KCBS/KCAL duopoly.
