Not that it's important but the 4am hour of GDC has been replaced by Fox Weather . 4am news has always been excessive in my eyes anyways . The 4:30 half hour however does make sense .

I don't know if someone brought this up... but I see WFLD stopped behind cheap and they have a traffic reporter again. It appears she's per diem from Total  Traffic. 

Channel 2 does Robb Ellis so dirty. Weekend mornings...really he's been there for awhile and all these new people always get better shifts he's worth so much more than to be put on a newscast no one is watching.

I know it's because of budget issues. But living in a top 3 market and watching local news is totally different. I travel a lot and some of those small market newscasts are almost unwatchable. It's kind of like radio when the market talent is so horrible due to lack of experience etc they get replaced with a out of market host. Same thing here bad anchors news sets that look 20 years old . Screw it I would just centralize everything too. But I think they should have a local weatherman. As well as who cares about it being live , they should have the National anchors read a few local stories and edit them in to the newscast so it flows like it's a actual local newscast . Because let's be honest in some of these small towns the local news isn't that plentiful and really doesn't have to be live . But there should be some local flavor not just all National.

Does KCBS air news and weather cut ins during CBS Mornings during the early morning hours at 4:25 4:55 5:25 etc.?

Are they going to keep using the old KCBS set or no?

Nobody's going to dial up a station in the nose bleed section of UHF to watch another boring newscast. Entertain me.

Because it’s a left wing network and Sinclair is not . Anyways, They are just trying to get ad revenue that’s all this is . I don’t see why they just don’t make it a regular local newscast live to tape , with maybe one or two  of live reports edited in to make it seem live. All the back and fourth take WFOR for example ,Tom Hansen in NY talking national then Elliot Rodriguez doing a cut in from Miami then having WFORs meteorologist then a CBS national meteorologist is just plain stupid . If they want New York to make the newscast they should have them do the whole thing . It won’t take that long (similar to radio because they won’t have to wait for reports to air and commercials, they will be

 able to tape the whole newscast in 15-20 min .Then have a producer insert the local reports. Then pull a WNYW and just tell a feel good story at the end and say good night . Cheap and simple but of course CBS is always ass backwards.
