The Ever-Evolving Gray Graphics Situation...Thread
Denver Murray replied to NEOMatrix's topic in Graphics
I just wanted to say thank you to the admins, moderators, and users for all the wonderful updates, videos, and photos that debut each Gray TV station's new graphics. I've been here from the start of the GrayOne thread. Also, to the few who know what and when each one will debut, thanks for keeping it secret. I like the suspense and surprise. I still despise the red theme (Richmond, Atlanta, etc.,) but the others are fantastic. Thanks again for all the updates! -

I wonder if WOIO 19 News Cleveland is about to flip the switch??? I noticed they updated their weather graphics online (just not on air yet.) -

They look REALLY good! Also, I LOVE the open for WTVG ! Not trying to be negative (sorry in advance?) but I am just keeping my fingers crossed that WOIO 19 doesn't use the WWBT red when they switch.... From past experiences, I have a bad feeling that they will. So much red. But the other colors are great on the other stations. WBJR did a fantastic job! -

I agree. Moderators? Wasn’t this agreed upon weeks ago or something pinned to the top about stop announcing every station? Correct me if I am wrong. We all know about the network logos being removed so we shouldn’t keep posting about them. -

I can confirm that WSFA 12 is going to be one of the next stations. I talk to someone who works there and they are almost ready for the new Gray TV graphics flip. And yep...removing the peacock from the logo. -

WWBT NBC 12 has kinda-sorta-re-branded to "12 On Your Side" ... However, it's not uniform. The intros still have the peacock and "NEWS" under the logo with the peacock. Only the bug/ticker and the Facebook page logos have been changed. Everything else is the same for now. -

Well, I certainly appreciate that they did not pick an entirely red theme for the graphics. Gray doesn't look bad at all... Way better than what WWBT Richmond has. It's SO red you cannot even see what's in the background of the graphics! Very distracting. I actually like this! -

NOTE: (RE: WDBJ 7 Roanoke) I apologize, I guess I got ahead of myself. Only the weather has switched to GrayOne graphics (as of 4:00 p.m. Monday 10/2/23,) but I assume the change is going to happen soon. -

WIS-TV Columbia looks REALLY good. While I like NBC 12 WWBT Richmond, I am kind of disappointed with all the red. I mean, that's something that Cleveland 19 News would do. The blue colors in the background with WIS with the red in their logo looks fantastic. -

WWBT NBC 12 will reveal their new GrayOne graphics at 4:30 a.m. Monday (tomorrow morning!) I was able to confirm this by someone I know who works at the station. They will be using a red theme, similar to Atlanta. Their "livestream" graphic is already up, so here is a first look before they officially change tomorrow.
