TVNewsRI 4
http://www.philly.com/philly/business/Comcast_making_presentation_to_Olympics_panel_to_host_Games.html This would allow NBC to cover the 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020 Olympic games. NBC has been the official network of the games since 2000. Well, according to USA Today, NBC Sports president Not Dick Ebersol (OK, Mark Lazarus) says he'll show all events live. Jess 1115
Well, according to USA Today, NBC Sports president Not Dick Ebersol (OK, Mark Lazarus) says he'll show all events live. And that's the key difference between GE NBCU and Comcast NBCU: they have many more networks this can "fit" on, namely Versus the NBC Sports channel and Golf Channel. (I'd also say G4, but apparently they're selling that to the UFC.) While I can still see a primetime show with taped content, they can run the majority of events live on, say, USA, NBC Sports, and Golf.
