Anyone who's been through Hollywood through the years, specifically up and down Sunset Boulevard or the 101 freeway, should recognize the KTLA 5 tower at its studio lot on the corner of Sunset and Van Ness Avenue; of course, it's not the main transmitter tower, that's at Mount Wilson. Appanently last night, a young man climbed about 2/3s up the tower (to the "A") because he wanted to send a some sort of message. Somewhat related, there was another man set up a tent underneath that same tower the day before.
