PelicanGuy 117 Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 New Orleans' WVUE (Fox 8) continues to make moves after Saints owner Tom Benson purchased the station in 2009. They include: * Beginning a 4 pm newscast September 12 to go against WDSU's 4pm's newscast. It will be anchored by 10 pm anchor Kim Holden and 5pm/9pm anchor Nancy Parker. Morning anchor Jennifer Hale is moving to the sports department and will do sports for this newscast while Bob Breck does the weather. Hale will also do sideline reporting for some FOX NFL broadcasts. * Speaking of sports, former CNN sports anchor Fred Hickman will join the station as its new sports director and should be on the air soon.
