Lynne Sater, former KARE and WESH reporter, dies

Lynne Sater, who worked as a reporter for Hearst Television's Orlando NBC affiliate WESH, died Monday due to bile duct cancer at her home in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin at the age of 49. Sater worked at WESH from 1988 to 1993, alongside with her husband Terry Sater (now an anchor at WESH sister station WISN in Milwaukee, the ABC affiliate in that city). The University of Minnesota School of Journalism graduate met her husband when they were working as reporters for Gannett's NBC affiliate KARE in Minneapolis, having moved to Wisconsin in 2005; Lynne also leaves behind three daughters, her parents and two brothers. She also worked in the Pewaukee School District in Wisconsin. Funeral services for Lynne Sater will be held at Crosspoint Community Church in Oconomowoc on Saturday.
