TexasTVNews 1367 Posted December 24, 2011 Share Posted December 24, 2011 It is with deep sadness on the this holiday season to inform you all that Bill Hall, former WSMV weatherman from 1974 to 2005 has died tonight at the age of 65. Hall worked at Channel 4 for over 30 years, becoming the chief meteorologist in 1977. Hall was popular with viewers for his trusted forecast as well as his outgoing personality. He was well known for his love of nature and was an avid outdoors man. Spokespersons for the station said funeral arrangements are pending.
