Hughes 753 Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 While perusing various sites through Google News about this story, all stated it occurred at 9:30 a.m. but most of them incorrectly identified the newscast the incident occurred on at that time was Morning Live and one even stated it happed during Morning Live: First Edition (Morning Live airs from 5:30-9 a.m. and Morning Live: First Edition airs from 4-5:30 a.m.; given the time it occurred, the error would have happened during News Now AM). Secondly, it is ironic that the cable feed of CHCH is the one it occurred to, since the station's owner Channel Zero owns three adult specialty channels: AOV Adult Movie Channel, XXX Action Clips Channel and even a channel that specializes in airing gay porn films, Maleflixxx Television. Here in America, adult film channels are not under common ownership with a broadcast station or mainstream cable channel, and I doubt if a media company here in the States that owns mainstream cable channels would even want to have a cable channel that airs hardcore porn (Time Warner and CBS Corporation, which respectively own Cinemax and Showtime Networks, both of which show some softcore films, notwithstanding).
