Rob Quirk and Lisa Lyden (KOAA) Outlasted Mike Landess and Ed Sardella (KUSA)

Lisa Lyden is the lead anchorwoman of sister station KOAA Channel 5 in Colorado Springs/Pueblo (sister station of fellow NBC affiliate KUSA Channel 9 in Denver). She co-anchors with lead anchorman Rob Quirk.

 

But at the end of July, and after 20 years anchoring together, Lyden's calling it quits.

 

Rob and Lisa outlasted Mike Landess and Ed Sardella, even before KOAA became a sister station of KUSA (as in fellow NBC affiliates)

 

For 16 years, Landess and Sardella were the anchor team during KUSA's days as an affiliate of ABC (from 1977 to 1993).

 

Before and after KUSA's change from ABC to NBC in 1995, Rob and Lisa anchored at KOAA from 1991 until 2012 this year.

 

Rob and Lisa outlasting Mike and Ed; that is quite a feat to accomplish.

 

When an anchor team has anchored longer than any other station in Colorado, quite a feat has accomplished.
