T.L. Hughes 890
Two years after a radio interview in which he called The Daily Show host Jon Stewart a "bigot" and commented that "everybody that runs CNN is a lot like Stewart" (in a reference to the Judaism faith) got him fired from CNN, Rick Sanchez is joining MundoFox (which debuted in August) as a correspondent. According to The New York Times, Sanchez, who is Cuban-American and a bilingual English-Spanish speaker, will contribute daily segments based out of Miami (where he once worked at WSVN, that market's affiliate of MundoFox sister network Fox) to the fledgling Spanish-language network's Noticias MundoFox evening newscasts and will also host several news specials each year. Sanchez most recently had been a contributor to Fox News and its English-language website aimed at Latino-Americans called Fox News Latino, and also anchored election night coverage for the site in Spanish on November 6.
