He's a Zucker guy - which means it's probably a matter of time before he steps into some role at CNN. I think it was a matter of when, not if. He was reporting directly to Zucker; when Comcast took over, he was placed under an "NBC News Group" umbrella where he reports to Patricia Fili-Kushel, not Steve Burke. That, the recent troubles, and probably the fact that he was there for seven years - yeah, it was probably time.
