News 9 Viewer 100
Whether he was paired with Tom Brookshier or John Madden, Pat Summerall was the voice of some of the NFL's biggest games and one of the most memorable personalities in the long and storied history of CBS Sports. He was also a great ambassador for Fox Sports in its early years. Though he will be missed, the blow of his loss is softened by the fact that he's rejoined his old friend Tom in a booth finer than any on earth. As a Pats fan, I fondly recall his reaction to Adam Vinatieri's winning field goal in Super Bowl XXXVI. Adam Vinatieri! No time on the clock and the Patriots have won Super Bowl XXXVI! Unbelievable! bhratbrat 437
One of the funniest calls from Pat Summerall and John Madden during a blowout game. Made me tremendously laugh.
