A friend told me that they starting using a new theme song during this time, but cut it after only a week. Is this true? If so, was it any good? I'd love to hear what it sounded like. jtgh922 18 Posted May 30, 2007 Author Share Posted May 30, 2007 It was The Today Show... I think it was about 2004 or 2005. They did a week of shows from Chicago at WMAQ's Studio 5. If I recall correctly, Lester Holt and Katie Couric anchored the broadcasts. I can remember how refreshing the theme was that they used, and being so upset after they dropped it.
