WXmanTim 88 Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Cowles Media, owner of KHQ-TV and the Spokesman-Review, has announced it is buying seven stations in Montana from Max Media, LLC. The stations include KULR-Billings, KFBB-Great Falls, KHBB-Helena, KWYB-Butte/Bozeman (-LD), KTMF-Missoula/Kalispell (-LD). With the exception of KULR, all of the stations operate as Primary ABC with Fox on the .2 subchannel. Max has owned the stations since 2005 and recently launched a 5:30pm newscast on the ABC side and a 9:00pm newscast on the Fox subchannel in Missoula/Kalispell & Butte/Bozeman.
