BehindNYNews 147
Simple question, why are no ABC O&Os available on airlines or internationally etc..., for example, I could get WCBS and WNBC in Aruba and on Southwest Airlines but no ABC O&O and thats the same for any airline and I believe any international city. Even WNYW, WGN and The CW LA are available on airlines. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/13044-abc-oos-internationally-and-on-airlines/ Share on other sites
chrelevator 28
Perhaps there's some sort of carriage agreement that WABC or the other ABC O&Os won't agree to? wabceyewitness 818
Prob has to do with agreements between Disney and the satellite providers for those airlines, Dish and DirecTV. bhratbrat 437
I do know that WABC is at least shown in the Caribbean (DOM REP/HAITI/BERMUDA). IN a lot of the South American countries however, its the actual production studios that has networks in Latin America (WB {Warner}/FOX{Canal FOX}/Universal/Sony Entertainment) with some of the other channels you will see here. Also to note is that you will see FOX News Channel all across Latin America but no CNN International as they more opt to CNN Latino (or in Chile, CNN Chile) Also of note, is that if you are a CityTV fan, there is CityTV in Bogota. But it is not the same the neighbors up to the north.
