You think it would cost $100 million to $500 million?

WJBK Channel 2 in Detroit left CBS to be a FOX network O&O in 1995. That is, after Rupert Murdoch bought all major network affiliates owned by New World in 1994-95. The question was where did CBS move into? WXON wasn't interested, seeing that Channel 20 was worth $200 million, but CBS wanted to buy half of channel 20. Finally, when all options ran out, CBS turned to WGPR for buying Channel 62 from the Masons for $24 million.

Warren Buffet's company wants to buy just ABC10 WPLG in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, but Buffet doesn't want the other stations owned by Post-Newsweek (Channel 10's original owner)
