Gulf_Broadcasting 0 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I noticed recently that KDFW stopped having the time/temp. bug stop revolving and have it like KXAS & WFAA, where it is stationairy instead. Did anyother FOX O&O do this, or is KDFW the only one?
FirstNews8 13 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I have noticed alot of stations stop using the time/temp bugs...
StormTrack8000 0 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Yes, a lot of stopped. It is too cluttered (from a local station here). A lot of times, many stations will just use it in the Morning
FirstNews8 13 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Yeah, that is what I have noticed as well.
J-Man 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 KMSP still has the time/temp rotating. KARE & KSTP also have the time & temp. WCCO only shows the temp for the 10pm news but shows the time for all the other shows.
jhampsten 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 KTVI still uses the time and temp in every newscast, except for the repeat of the 9PM news at 1 AM, and instead of the time and temp alternating, it shows repeat.
Guest GForceTV Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 WFXT still rotates their bug, and it's quite annoying.
squiggyfm 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 What's the point of having a time/temp bug outside the morning show? "Great...its 6:11 and 56 degrees outside. Good thing I'm at home or I might need that information."
HoustonNews 0 Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 TO my knowledge, KRIV is still using the time/temp rotating bug.
