Boston's WCVB Channel 5 anchor Phil Lipof is back on the air after being out for nearly a month. He was back on last night's newscast and wrote a story about his medical condition.

It began with an infection and he got treated, but the following day it got worse, had reactions to the antibiotics to the point he had Dress Syndrome. Obviously he has recovered and in his words he calls the near death experience "life changing" referring to his 20 years working in the business with crazy hours, etc. It was a well written story, I can't cut it up, I suggest you read the story for yourself.
