n925tv 143
An icon of Hollywood is now gone, but, hopefully, will return in 2015. I'm not going to be surprised if it won't be put back up again, sadly. :/ http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-ktla-radio-tower-20141124-story.html Here's what they will be building in the place of the tower: http://la.curbed.com/archives/2013/06/first_look_at_new_design_for_hollywoods_sunset_bronson_studios.php Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/14044-ktla-tower-now-gone/ Share on other sites
ToriElectra 292
Aw, man, that tower was nice. Let's hope that if they do put it back up, they replace the 80's style logo with the newer one. Guest Former Member 207
By the look of those concepts, it looks like KTLA will stay put at Sunset-Bronson for years to come. Also, in a way, the office building on the corner of Sunset and Van Ness actually kinda blends-in with the high school across Van Ness (where the old KTTV/Metromedia Square studios once stood). Guest Former Member 207
This is kinda old news, but the KTLA tower is back up (actually happened about a month or so ago)...it's now on the opposite end of the Sunset side of the lot (on the corner of Sunset & Bronson).
