Weeters 1916
Just a heads up: This weekend I intend on tweaking the software that is the cause of the "503 Gateway Timeout" errors that have been plaguing the site as of late. While doing so, the site may randomly go down (as it's already doing anyways), and might go down for longer periods if a change I make causes problems later when I'm not around to see. Because at TVNT, we won't be signing off until the world ends. We will cover how Sinclair stations are covering the end of the world, live, and that will be our last thread. We'll play the close from "Move Closer To Your World" before we sign off. Weeters 1916
And one more day to go... Nothing happened today? Things happened, you just can't really see their effects. TVNT is using about half as much RAM as it was using 24 hours ago and ran without issue when I stress tested it. I just want to see what it's like on Monday under normal conditions. ChesapeakeTV 311
Strangely enough I never noticed any issues until after this was announced (and even then it was just a brief spurt of downtime). Still, definitely a good idea to be proactive about these things.
