NWA_TV_guy 156
WLBT-TV posted the attached picture on their Instagram page of what appears to be a set refresh. There's no indication to be a new set as the caption said "a few days." So, we will see what Raycom has up their sleeve for Mississippi News Now. Note: This set was installed in 2012 when Raycom took over news operations for WDBD-TV (FOX) through a SSA with American Spirit Media. TennTV1983 804
Looks like they're just replacing the duratrans, which had the previous graphical look on them, as well as adding a monitor grid. NWA_TV_guy 156
Both stations have been using the interview set or the newsroom for the entire week and the weather shots have been very tight. We know the weather duratrans have been changed. The main anchor shot looks to be a video wall replacing the three duratrans. Maybe we will see a Monday debut? I also expect other Raycom stations with this version set (majority of the group) to do the same upgrades. caliwxdude 254
Looks good, except for how you can really see the camera bouncing around in the breeze on tight one-shots. If they're going to use a live city cam for the background, they'll need to figure out how to lock it down better.
