Except for reporting on things that are public knowledge or press releases, the blog is littered with speculation and unnamed sources. Most recently: Diane Macedo left WCBS to anchor the 4pm news on WNBC. The truth: Macedo has just been announced as the new co-anchor of ABC World News Now. Another topic he reported a while ago and was published in the New York Daily News: Rob Powers would take over the 4pm news on WABC and David Novarro would shift to mornings, presumably leaving Ken Rosato out of a job. The truth: David and new hire Shirleen Allicot took over the noon news after Ken and Lori were promised lighter workloads.
