hofflalu 0
In the past week-plus, MSNBC has been doing some broadcasts from a different room at 30 Rock, especially "Road Warriors" and some of the dayside Chris Hayes-hosted programming. It looks like a working newsroom of sorts with an area in the middle around a table and high chairs that's been turned into a mini-set. Anyone familiar with the room/"studio" and why they recently started using this? USNewsie 50
This looks like the same studio Lester was in for ON Assignment. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/15128-msnbc-alternate-seton-assignment-set/#findComment-151367 Share on other sites

hofflalu 0
Yep, that's the one: http://www.newscaststudio.com/2016/05/13/on-assignment-debuts-from-30-rock/ Makes me wonder if MSNBC has been using it to test the layout for "On Assignment," or if they simply want another option for programming, especially closer to the actual heart of the newsgathering.
