The network launches this fall as home to the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. This replaces the Sabres Hockey Network as a new long-term deal was created by MSG Network and Pegula Sports and Entertainment for the rights to both the Bills and Sabres as well as expanded programming on both teams and a new channel for their home.

 

This now joins MSG Network and MSG Network 2 (NY State) as well as MSG Plus and MSG Plus 2 (NYC) as channels under the MSG family of networks.

I'd stop short of calling it a network. It's more or less the Pegulas leasing time on the MSG feed that's piped into Western NY. Everything else will be a simulcast of the main network.

 

I'm interested in seeing if they make deals with local colleges, high schools, etc. to take over production of their games to provide more content.
