Is WRNN going off the air, and if so, what's going to happen to FiOS1? AFAIK the only reason FiOS1 exists is because News 12 isn't available on FiOS.
scrabbleship 429 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I didn't realize that they were the ones that produced FiOS1 News. Is WRNN going off the air, and if so, what's going to happen to FiOS1? AFAIK the only reason FiOS1 exists is because News 12 isn't available on FiOS. FiOS1 would still plug on if the WRNN signal were to go off the air. They make more money from the work they do for FiOS than they do with the off-air signal. The off-air signal hasn't mattered for the better part of a decade and that's a liberal approach since WRNN hasn't tried really since 1999.
