cityprod 9
Here in the UK, the floods around the Severn and Thames valley areas have been the top story, simuch so that extra coverage has aired in prime time on both BBC1 and ITV1. BBC1 aired a special programme between 7.30pm and 8pm, with ITV1 airing theirs from 8pm to 8.30pm. The 24 hour news channels have covered little else, as Britain has undergone a very wet summer with many floods across England. The local radio stations in the area have been putting in extra coverage as well, in order to keep the locals updated on the situation. YoungstownTV 0
I know this is the international thread, but i'd like to mention that the American networks covered this pretty well. One night it was the top story on World News and Nightly News. And NBC and ABC reported live in central Britain (Gloucestershire County), actually doing some traveling unlike like stupid CBS News, who just sent some correspondent right outside their offices in London to report.
