mbhcity 3 Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Man, it just doesn't stop...does it, all these stories about news anchors being taken ill. Very difficult stuff for tv news, but I hope Hal fares well and I wish him the best. He is one of the brightest and most dear-hearted television news anchors in the country and a staple in LA. KTLA may be falling from its past grace, but Hal and Stan Chambers are the ones who are holding things up at KTLA. We just cannot lose another tv news icon. We just can't lose Hal right now! Peace and Blessings!
NewsMan 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Hal Fishman has died at the age of 75 from Colon Cancer. A tribute is up on KTLA's website and Kent & Suzanne broke the story shortly before end the end of CBS 2 Morning News. My Condolences go out to his his family. A very sad day for the KTLA family.
