Randomly searching wishtv.com came across this:

INDIANAPOLIS - WISH-TV's 24-Hour News 8 continues a trend of strong ratings and share growth for its newscasts.

Just like the May sweeps, WISH-TV was once again the only local station to show both rating and share growth during every time period of its early morning "Daybreak" newscasts. From the time period 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m., Daybreak's ratings grew 25% and 40% in share. For the 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. time period Daybreak's ratings increased 17% and share was up 20%. From 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. ratings were up 3% and share up 8%. Once again, WISH-TV's "24-Hour News 8 at Noon" was the dominant midday newscast.

The great news continued through the early evening. "24-Hour News 8 at 5PM" boasted double-digit share growth, up 11% over both the May sweeps (book-to-book) and the July 2006 sweeps (year-to-year). Ratings were up 15% over May. "24-Hour News 8 at 6PM" also grew share 11% over May and grew its ratings 13% over last July. "24-Hour News 8 at 10PM" on MyNDY (Channel 23) increased its year-to-year share by 20%.

On the weekend, "Daybreak" spiked both in year-to-year ratings and share. On Saturday, ratings were up 13% and share 18%. Sunday morning ratings were up 31% and share 27% over last July. 24-Hour News 8's "Sports Locker: Sunday" also boasted household rating and share up 29% over last year.

It was also a great month for WISHTV.com with unique visitors up 30% and page views up 21% over last year during the same period. Video plays on WISHTV.com have surpassed 1 million since January 2007.

WISH-TV and CBS had 6 of the top 10 number one prime time programs including "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men," "Rules of Engagement," "Shark," "CSI," and "Big Brother." WISH-TV was number one in late night with "The Late Show with David Letterman."

The proceeding ratings results were based on the Indianapolis Nielsen Station Index (NSI) for July 2007.

I personally don't know that much about ratings so i assume this is good.
