TexasTVNews 1377 Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Temporary I've been watching CBS 11 News at 4, 5 & 6pm and they are anchoring in a temporary news set and they going to get a brand new set in which it would take weeks to finished. I called Doug Dunbar and asked after the 4pm news and he told me that CBS 11 News is going HD. I'm about 50-50 sure that there going HD. And is it part of the TXA21 set? I've moved out of Texas for school so I'd love to see some screencaps. And if GO is going to do the graphics, then would the KTVT people PLEASE do better L3s to go along with them. I would like to see KTVT pick up WCCO's Hothaus graphics, and just change the red to blue. They will be getting "fresh, new music" along with a new set and graphics according to Steve Mauldin. Please oh please let it be the WBBM rock version. ;D It would be nice to hear some of Gari's stuff again after 20 years of being out of North Texas, when KDFW dropped Hello back in '87 for the ever-crappy Yours Truly hospital theme. (Go to SouthernMedia, pull up KDFW's file and listen to the 1 open they have...you'll know what I mean: critical condition, very critical.)
