CTrey98 31
Thought I would start a thread on Indoor Football broadcasts. This year is a big season for the Indoor Football League, as they have a new team called the Vegas Knight Hawks. Which is owned by Bill Foley and the Vegas Golden Knights. The team has their broadcasts aired on My LVTV (MyNetworkTV Affiliate) and uses the Stadium Network graphics. (Probably because the station is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group.) Their score bug design is placed at the top. Which is not something I've not seen for football broadcasts in a while. What do you guys think? CTrey98 31
Another new team the Bay Area Panthers is owned by Marshawn Lynch. Their broadcasts are produced by KBCW. The graphics on these broadcasts look a lot more brighter and has the score bug at the bottom. caliwxdude 254
These broadcasts are almost always produced by the teams themselves, not the stations airing the games, so you'll see some varying levels of production quality. Then there's some barter/ad revenue sharing going on in terms of securing airtime on KBCW. Interestingly it looks like former KPIX/current freelance KTVU weather anchor Roberta Gonzales is also doing PR for the Panthers. Whoever made the decision to wear all-black unis on a black turf surface though... yikes. Took me a minute to realize there was more than one team out there.
