Wisco TV Watcher 11
Green Bay ABC affiliate, WBAY-TV 2 is claiming a victory in all newscast timeslots in the July Nielsen ratings. Here are the numbers for the two timeslots in which all four stations go head-to-head: 6:00 a.m.: WBAY 2 (ABC): 5 rating/34 share; WLUK 11 (FOX): 5 rating/31 share; WFRV 5 (CBS): 1 rating/7 share; WGBA 26 (NBC): 1 rating/7 share 5:00 p.m.: WBAY 2 (ABC): 10 rating/28 share; WLUK 11 (FOX): 5 rating/15 share; WFRV 5 (CBS): 5 rating/14 share; WGBA 26 (NBC): 2 rating/7 share. My analysis: WBAY did well as usual and gained a victory at Noon, where competitor WFRV usually wins. WLUK saw nice increases in these last ratings and pulled in ahead of WFRV, who disappointed severely. WGBA was in last place as usual, and that's where they will remain until they gain some credibility. It'll take a lot more than that if they expect to get any viewers. Otherwise, these ratings don't surprise me at all.
