Andy B 0 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Is it just me or does it seem that the colour quality and sharpness seems better on NBC, then it is on ABC hwn it comes to SD? ABC always looks washed out, colour-wise and looks like a VHS tape. NBC's looks better because the colour is life-like and looks better quality-wise like a DVD. Is there a reason for this?

WCAUTVNBC10 419 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Either that or he has a drooling problem.
Chief-O 37 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 The local station might have something to do with it as well. Now, I don't have an HDTV, but I do have a good example: Our market's CBS usually looks like crap, the NBC isn't too much better, while the Fox and ABC both look really good. It might just be a case of the ABC affil, overall, having not as good picture quality as the NBC affil.
snelfu 1 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Perhaps. It's not as noticeable in our market. The difference, however, is that our ABC affiliate obscures the fullscreen picture to 14:9. I'm surprised not all stations have taken it that far, as of recent. :-\
