Susan Barnett Out @ 5am

I noticed this morning that Liz Keptner was on with Ukee this morning and did not say she was in for Susan Barnett, and then I read this in Dan Gross's Daily News column: "Liz Keptner replaces Susan Barnett alongside Ukee Washington for CBS 3's morning newscast (KYW-TV, Channel 3), starting at 5 a.m. today. Barnett, a Bucks County native, could move to a weekend anchor slot or could be reporting."

Anyone know why Susan got the hook, or was she sick of getting up so early? Liz and Susan are both good, but they're so similar I don't see the point.

I like Susan too, well i like both of them. I thought maybe Susan didn't like the hours because of a baby at home.

Why is Liz better?

Any reason why Susan was yanked?

It's an age-old TV tale: The GM really likes Susan (both previously at WFOR) but the morning ratings needed a push. It's all about finding the right "mix" with Ukee and management thinks Liz has it.
