WANEFan 1
Last year, CNBC launched a local version in India. Broadcast in Hindu, it was named AWAAZ, and our buddies at 615 Music composed an excellent news music package for it. Now, the package has a US customer... and it's in Wichita, Kansas, of all places. The NMSA says that KAKE dumped their "temporary" production music that lasted nine months(!) in favor of the AWAAZ theme. Talk about an improvement from the days of Rob Cairns' "farting French horns"... ;D Still, I hope that more American stations pick up this package... it's really good.
