WJBK goes to the O&O look

Yes. We got the new look. It's an interesting variation, new L3's, no yellow, slowly animated bug, AND STILL THE OLD WEATHER GRAPHICS. UGH!

Finally, after all these months, WJBK is finally taking the plunge, new look, new music, new set, hopefully WJBK lucks out when getting their implementation of the new Fox O&O look tommorow TONIGHT AT 10PM to coincide with the debut of Fox 2 NewsEdge at 11 tommorow night.

From what I've seen from the studio cam, the new set does look quite nice, but hopefully they get a good varient of the new graphics, just seems to get better on every new station they put it on. Finally, once we're through here, this cycle of "television puberty" in Detroit will have finally ended. It started when WXYZ went HD, then WDIV went all RenderOn on us, then went HD, and now finally, THE FOX O&O LOOK IN DETROIT.

Yep, finally debuted! We got an interesting varient on the graphics though, it's got no yellow in it at all, and we've got a completely different L3. Also new music of course, is awesome.

p.s. ultra slow bug like on Fox 29

edit: LOL NO NEW WEATHER GRAPHICS. ??? (yes, same intro and everything for the weather)

That is a friggin' nice iteration of the look. I wonder if this variant'll come to other stations, since Fox 29 is using a more "complex" version of the look, sorta like this one, for "Today at Five" promos. It makes the whole thing look amazingly stylish, unlike the ugly Fox News Channel Lite versions other stations have adopted...
