kdex86 54 Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 For example, on WCVB in Boston, Mon-Fri have white headers but Sat-Sun have gold headers. And on WPRI in Providence, Mon-Fri have white headers but Sat-Sun have red headers. Why is this? 1
nathannah 2496 Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Calendars have been this way since the 1800s; red indicates weekends and holidays, white or black weekdays. Some stations may differ in color, but weekends are always demarcated by a different color than the weekdays. 2
